ArCH Square

Taking inspiration from the dense artefact layout in micro museums like John Soane Museum, we propose to transform the Archaeology and ICH Centre into a series of curated rooms, each functioning as a version of a cabinet of curiosities for displayed artefacts.

Concept:

This concept can be reimagined in the context of an archaeological museum visit—as an exploration of artifacts that invites interactivity through the opening and closing of cabinets. It draws inspiration from the very nature of archaeology itself: to uncover, to discover.

Creating spaces for curated experience, like a cabinet of curiousities, storefront rooms engage the street. Entrance vestibule instantly immerses visitors, where the workshop space becomes part of the exhibit. While the exhibition remains flexible and dynamic, encouranging visitors to engage and interact.

Creating comfortable spaces for office and ICH resource space. The event space remains dynamic and flexible to cater for large events, or smaller workshops.
